When AI Works, and When It Doesn't
Most people selling AI visuals won't tell you this. We'd rather you get the right images than the cheapest ones.
AI is the right tool for
- Lifestyle and environment scenes around a product you've already photographed
- High-volume ad creative variants for testing
- Seasonal and campaign backgrounds
- Model shots for apparel where the garment is clearly visible
- Concept visuals before committing to a full shoot
A real shoot is the right tool for
- Your primary product images — the ones the customer zooms into before buying
- Packaging with text, logos or fine print that must be exactly right
- Jewellery, watches and anything where material detail is the product
- Food where texture and steam sell the item
- Anything you'll use as a marketplace hero image
Most brands need both. We'll tell you which is which for your products, and quote accordingly.
Will the images look fake?
Some AI output does. Ours doesn't get sent to you if it does. The honest answer is that it depends on the product — simple shapes and packaging work extremely well, while jewellery and fine detail are harder. We'll produce a free sample in your category before you commit.
Will it look like my actual product?
Yes, because we build around your real product photo rather than generating the product from scratch. The item stays as it is and the world around it is created. What AI can't reliably invent is packaging text or fine detail that doesn't exist in the source image — which is why your primary product photo needs to be a real one.
What quality of photo do I need to send?
Less than you'd think. A phone photo on a plain surface in daylight is usually enough. If yours won't work, we'll tell you before taking your money and show you how to retake it.
Is this allowed on Meta ads and marketplaces?
Enhanced and generated imagery is permitted, but it can't misrepresent the product — showing a size, colour, quantity or feature the customer won't receive is what gets ads rejected and accounts flagged. We keep visuals accurate to what's actually in the box. Marketplace hero images have stricter rules, so those should stay as real photographs.
Do you use real models?
The models in AI visuals are generated, not real people. That means no per-image licensing and no usage limits — the images are yours permanently.
Do you do video?
Yes. We animate static visuals into short video and reels in vertical formats. Quoted separately.
Who owns the images?
You do, with full commercial rights. No licensing renewals, no usage limits.
Can you match my existing brand look?
Yes. Send us your current creative and brand guidelines and we'll build to them rather than imposing a house style.
